Free does not include any feature that calls a paid AI provider. That is why the continuity check belongs to Author. ## What Author adds Author costs $19/month or $180/year, plus tax. Paying yearly comes to $15 a month. Yes. Free never expires, and there is no trial period that ends. You keep using your bible, your manuscript and export for as long as you like. Do I need an API key? No. No Journzy plan asks for an API key. The AI in Author is included in the flat price, so you do not pay a provider for usage. Is there a free trial of Author? There is no trial period. The Free plan does that job: you use it with no time limit and move to Author when you need the AI checks. What happens when I cancel Author? Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. You keep Author until then. After that your account moves to Free: the bible, the manuscript, the versions and export stay as they were, and the AI checks stop. Can I switch between monthly and yearly? Yes. Monthly to yearly applies right away, with a prorated adjustment. Yearly to monthly applies at the end of the period. Do the prices include tax?
