What is Journzy?

Journzy is an AI-powered writing studio for character-driven fiction: it reads your manuscript against your story bible — characters, places, relationships that evolve chapter by chapter — and flags continuity contradictions while you write. The AI watches, checks and suggests; it never writes your story.

Why does it exist?

Because writing good character-driven fiction is, at bottom, a memory problem. A cast that keeps growing, relationships that shift chapter to chapter, three timelines and a thousand details you promised not to forget: the longer the work, the bigger the story its author has to hold in their head.

And the detail that slips doesn't stay in the draft: it survives editing, reaches print, and one ordinary night a reader finds it. Green eyes in chapter 3 that were brown in chapter 9 say nothing about the author's talent; they speak about their memory. We are building Journzy so that review never gets written: a living story bible the AI consults in real time as you write, remembering what memory can't.

Why Spanish-first?

Because AI writing tools are designed in English and translated afterwards, and Spanish fiction loses out along the way. Journzy understands grammatical gender and agreement natively, and it sees something no English-first tool sees: that moving from usted to tú is not a typo — it's an event in a relationship. Writing in English? It works too. But Spanish is our home.

Who is behind Journzy?

We are a small independent team based in Spain. We didn't come to generate novels with AI: we come from the author's side, which is why the product has three principles we won't negotiate:

• Detection, not generation: the AI flags contradictions; you write your story.
• “It's intentional”: every flag can be dismissed with one button. The author is always the authority.
• Your writing is yours: you keep all rights, and your manuscript never trains models without your explicit opt-in.
